A beautiful city with many good restaurants (not the wine, over priced of poor quality) and bars to visit. Lots of women to admire, the Colombians are really attractive. A great place to watch the world go by!
Cartagena was founded in 1533 and is the undisputed queen of the Caribbean coast, a fairy-tale city of romance, legends and beauty lying within an impressive 13 km of centuries-old colonial stone walls. Cartagena’s old town is a maze of cobbled alleys, balconies covered in bougainvillea, and massive churches that cast their shadows across plazas. In 1984 Cartagena’s colonial walled city and fortress were designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
