Another 12 hour journey and we arrive in Bariloche were we will spend two nights at a noise campsite 2.7 km outside the town centre (what is the point of not staying in the centre). Arriving we are met by our “new” truck, a 20 seat sardine can. This truck was owned by Kumuka till they went out of business a few years back and has been hired by Odyssey for our use until our truck is repaired.
Although the Odyssey truck was declared dead 9 days ago we have not heard any news. Each person has paid £4,500 that is the amount that Odyssey receives to cover the cost of the truck, salaries and administration. On this trip alone that is £90,000… a lot of money!
It’s about time the leadership in Odyssey started communicating with their customers before people decided to jump ship.
